Parents – You Are Experts!
We are thrilled when parents share their stories with us. We learn something new everyday – from a new way to play a rhyme, to a great variation made up in desperation!
It is said that these little songs and jingles enter the nursery out of the desperation of the moment. This is so true!
A parent told us recently that the rhymes she has learned with her baby at Lullabies & LapRhymes, “…buy her time.” What better gift for your child than your valuable time? It is a gift only you can give.
When you share stories, rhymes, fingerplays, bounces, tickles, songs and lullabies with your little one, you are all theirs for that moment.
You give each other your undivided attention. This is what it feels like to build strong bonds between parent and child with language play.
The benefits last a lifetime.
